Personal information

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and visitors to our websites. We view the protection of your personal data as being of fundamental importance to the operation of our business. Personal information about our customers and website visitors is held securely and is treated with care. Tilaa complies with government privacy laws and requirements of the Netherlands and the European Union.

We store personal details of customers in our database. The information we store includes contact details, payment information, invoices and ordered services. This information is solely used for internal business processes. It's not and will not be shared with other parties, unless required by court order.

 

Credit cards

The security of customer credit card details is handled by Buckaroo, an online payment services provider also based in the Netherlands. We do not store any credit card details in our own database. Customer credit card details are only exposed once during signup to request an authorization token and will not be logged or otherwise stored in any Tilaa database. The authorization token can only be used by Tilaa and will only be used for invoicing.

 

Your email address

Your email address may be used to notify you of upcoming maintenance, invoices, account and payment information, monitoring alerts, new services or other important company announcements. Your email address will not be shared with other parties and will not be used to send you business offers or any other unwanted email generally regarded as being spam.

 

Browser information and IP address

General information regarding visits to Tilaa's websites is captured and stored. This information is used to generate statistics about country of origin, internet browsers, operating systems and other information that can help us improve our websites and business. We do not capture any information that can be used to directly identify a visitor or customer and this data is not linked to customer details in our database. We store one browser cookie for the sole purpose of keeping track of a login session between browser requests.
